While I recognize that 4 years of medical school and then 11 years of competitive post-graduate training is a big accomplishment, the family I’ve made, including my awe-inspiring 4-year-old daughter, is by far my greatest achievement.
The future of my field is...
Plastic surgery is an ever-evolving field. There is so much cutting-edge technology that is changing the face of how surgery is being done, especially approaching procedures with minimally invasive techniques and utilizing 3-D imaging.
The biggest misconception about my field is...
That plastic surgeons do only cosmetic procedures. What people don’t know is that plastic surgeons are involved in microsurgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgeries and reconstructive surgeries of all types (breast, facial and limb traumas). In addition, many plastic surgeons are well-trained in skincare, including cutting edge topical and laser treatments.
My most requested procedure is...
Breast augmentation surgery. However, a close second is a “mommy makeover” which includes a tummy tuck and breast surgery (either an augmentation, lift or combination).
What are you best known for?
My bedside manner as well as my meticulous attention to detail. It is important to me that patients feel comfortable from the moment they call or come for an appointment. This includes feeling ready for surgery and knowing I am available post-operatively for anything they need. Once they take that step, I pride myself in being able to restore their confidence with excellent outcomes.

I am board-certified in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. I have done rigorous training, including a cosmetic fellowship after my residencies with a very well-known plastic surgeon. I have been trained by the world’s best face and body surgeons which allows me to use the most modern, cutting-edge techniques.
What I love most about my profession is...
Being able to make people happy. The feeling of seeing restored confidence in an individual who has changed something they were insecure about is priceless.
What new services are you excited to offer?
There are exciting new things that can be done with fillers. A “liquid rhinoplasty” is a technique of using injectable fillers to change the appearance of the nose. I have seen excellent outcomes in patients who are candidates for this. There are always new lasers and machines being developed, offering excellent results with minimal downtime.
