With charming Healdsburg being Sonoma's hautest town, it doesn't take a lot to convincing to get people to go. Nonetheless, the annual Hotel Healdsburg Spa Month, which takes place every January, is certainly one more reason to visit this charming city. And we can't think of a better way to start the new year! You don't have to be a guest at the hotel, located on the historic Town Plaza, to partake in the Spa Month activities either.

During Spa Month, Hotel Healdsburg is offering discounted warming winter spa services, yoga, vineyard workouts, inspirational cooking and juicing courses—all complemented by the beautiful wine country surroundings of Sonoma County. Most activities are free for hotel guests and $15-$20 for non-guests. There's also an enticing Winter Bliss Package that will make you want to book a room at this three-story hotel, which is currently undergoing a refresh of its 50 guest rooms and six suites to be completed by February 2016. The room refresh comes on the heels of recent renovation of the property’s signature lobby and pool area.

Certified fitness instructor Kim Neal will take you on an easy to moderate hike on the trails above Lake Sonoma with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding area. Don’t forget your cameras! Jump Start Juice Cleanse: The Spa has partnered with Healdsburg's local Sonoma Juice Company to kick off the new year with a 1, 2 or 3 day juice cleanse. Join Lamarion Spence to sample juices, learn more about the cleanse, and amp up your nutrition game in the New Year. Pair it with a spa wellness massage or a detoxifying ginger wrap to enhance the cleanse both inside and out. Complimentary to all guests. Saturday, January 2nd 2-3:30pm

Rejuvenating Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga: The class is customized to the individual's needs and strengths. A typical class includes a rejuvenating mix of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Complimentary to hotel guests and Spa Club Members; $15 for outside guests. Sunday, January 3rd 9am-10am
