Spring training fever is catching, and Sapporo Scottsdale is catering to sports fans with Arizona team-themed rolls and one ultra-juicy cocktail.

The delicious and renown Forge Restaurant in Miami Beach will host its second Wine Dinner Series, which includes a six-course meal and delicious wine. The Wine Dinner Series, originating in New York’s Greenwich Village, is a perfect combination of chef Dewey LoSasso’s gourmet dishes and Joseph Phelps’ wine selection. Taking place during the 2011 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival at 7:30 p.m., this event costs $125 a person (excluding tax and service fees).

While much of Miami was gearing up for the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival, on Wednedsay, Feb. 23, The W South Beach Hotel & Residences, Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour and ABEST (The Association of Brazilian Fashion Designers) instead all joined forces to host a one of a kind, vivacious Brazilian swimwear fashion show.

On Friday, Larry Gagosian had a luncheon at his house, showing Richard Prince's work. Fabiola Beracasa, Derek Blassberg, Barry Gesser, Aby Rosen, Tico Mugrabi, katie Robbins and Simon Ruben, Chris Bass, and Desiree Gruber were all there along with a bunch of different art collectors from all over the world. Later that evening there was so many parties going on. Some people went to Ari Emanuel's WME party in Brentwood; some to Bryan Lourd's CAA party in Bel-Air; and some to Dennis Basso's birthday party.

More than 800 Valley society members turned out for the 2011 Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation Honor Ball this month. Held in The Phoenician Resort Grand Ballroom, the event celebrated its 35th year and benefited the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare.

It was a purple and pink wonderland last night atop the beautiful Herzog & de Mueron building on 1111 Lincoln Road as guests and celebrities came out in hoards to celebrate the sweetest sold out event at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Let Them Eat Cake. The over the top cakes, paid homage to the 10th anniversary of the festival, impressed as well as hit the sweet spot.

Wednesday night, the cast of E! network’s reality television series “Holly’s World” came out to support their leading man Josh Strickland as he debuted his newly released single “Report to the Floor” exclusively at LAX Nightclub at the Luxor. Holly Madison, Laura Croft and Angel Porrino were on hand as hundreds of fans packed the nightclub to hear Strickland perform live.

Over the Presidents' Day weekend I celebrated my birthday with family and friends in the San Francisco Bay Area on a quest for wine and the finest dining experience.
