Thirty Years of Tulips on Park Avenue
Fund for Park Avenue and Scully & Scully recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of this major urban beautification project, which spans two miles from 54th to 86th streets and boasts approximately 60,000 white tulips. Mary Lasker founded the Fund in 1980 and now the group has been able to plant every bulb through generous donations believing that the community not just a particular group should embrace this process.

Miami is giving Prince William a royal run for his money when it comes to the sport he’s known for. The Miami Beach Polo World Cup is currently underway near The Setai, running from April 22 to April 25, and the traditional “sport of kings” has been given a Miami makeover. I have never seen Christie’s as happening as it was last night. There were artists, collectors, and fabulous people making their way into the rooms of the auction house. I don't know who wasn't there but I can tell you who was: the beautiful Samantha and Aby Rosen (the latter of which has graced more than one Haute Living cover), Ted Danson, Lizzie and Jon Tisch, Ulla and Kevin Parker, Salma Hayek, Bronson van Wyck, Chevy Chase, Natalie and Edward Kaplan, Daphne Guinness, Renee and Mark Rockefeller, Brian Williams, John Demsey, Matt Lauer, Ron Meyer and Jeff Zucker. And while it seemed that the entire world was at Christie’s, this is New York, so naturally the city was abuzz with many other intriguing events.
