In that short time, Rock Sake has become available in over 200 restaurants, bars and markets in California, Nevada and Illinois—including Michael Mina’s XIV, Thompson Beverly Hills, Danny Masterson and Gerard Butler’s Shin Hollywood, Koi, Katsu-Ya, Katana, RockSushi several Northern California Whole Foods, and even Chicago’s Wrigley Field!

Haute Event: Special Screening of “Howl” Starring James Franco
On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Maestro Dobel Tequila sponsored a special screening of the film, “Howl.” The film, which stars James Franco as the late poet Allen Ginsberg, who faced an obscenity trial for the publication of his poem, “Howl.” The film debuted at Sundace earlier this year and is part animation, part historical reenactment and part courtroom drama.

On Wednesday, I had lunch at Cipriani Downtown with Loree Rodkin, Ingrid Casares, Goga Ashkenazi and Lizzie Grubman then we did a little shopping at Diane Von Furstenberg, Jeffrey, and Valentino to get some outfits for the evening. Our first stop was the Humane Society of the United States’ Make History Gala, hosted by Amanda Hearst. Guests included Topper Mortimer, Georgina Bloomberg, Beth Ostrosky, Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia, Luke Weil, David and Dylan Lauren, Moby, Andrew Lauren, and Debbie Bancroft.
