As the daily temperature reaches over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, everyone looks forward to taking a dip no matter what time of day it is. The iconic Legends restaurant at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club has recently been transformed into a sleek modern venue. The new décor features floor to ceiling glass windows as well as a terrace with a floating VIP table which can seat up to eight people. Guests can enjoy their meal amidst the sparkling waters of the Dubai Creek. My guest and I entered to this newly transformed eatery to delight in a hearty meal incorporating cutting-edge recipes and innovative concoctions.

On 26 February, Rivaage Boutique hosted a trunk show for Alexandra Tyler. A chic cocktail event was held at Rhodes Mezzanine, Grosvenor House to launch Mon Dupont, S.T.Dupont’s latest collection of pens and lighters designed in collaboration with celebrated designer Karl Lagerfeld. The evening sparkled with Parisian glamour and was attended by S.T.Dupont’s C.E.O Alain Crevet, Award winning Emarati film maker Nayla al Khaja, artist and style icon Mohammed Sultan al Habtoor and designer Ahmad Dabbas. among others.

For the first time, the Cartier team came away as proud winners of their own Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge. Held under under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in a thrilling match at Desert Palm on Friday 24 of February, the Cartier team narrowly defeated the current holders of the impressive trophy, Desert Palm, 10-9.
