With the new season, comes more designer collaborations. The latest announcement comes from Bally, who is teaming up with Art Basel and Art Basel Miami Beach on an ongoing design project, Bally Love.

New York’s Chelsea neighborhood just got a whole lot trendier. On April 15, Fashion 26, a Wyndham Hotel, opened at 152 West 26th Street and will be serving out-of-town chicsters in their 280 rooms, 22-story space.

A stay at a Ritz-Carlton resort could leave you with some fanciful Bulgari products; the only hitch? The teeny containers never last long enough to satisfy your taste for luxury essences.

Ralph Lauren, the All-American designer famous for stitching that cute little pony on polos, totes, and everything else preppy-chic, has just been awarded the Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur from the President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, at The Elysée palace, in Paris.

Earth Day is next week, and while we have heard of many amazing initiatives by the fashion world to support our great planet, none comes close to the Christie’s Green Auction taking place April 22. The auction, which has been two years in the making, marks the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.
