Last night the Cinema Society, Town & Country and Brooks Brothers hosted the after party, immediately following the premiere of “Damsels in Distress”. The film stars Greta Gerwig, Adam Brody and Analeigh Tipton. The stars and others who turned out for the premiere celebrated the film late into the night at the Soho Grand Hotel in NYC.

Haute 100 lister Beyoncé Knowles will soon be back to the big screen in a role that should be familiar; a singer-turned-superstar. Knowles will set to star in yet another remake of “A Star Is Born,” this time to be directed and produced by Oscar winner Clint Eastwood for Warner Bros.

The most expensive vehicle at the New York Auto Show, $26 million to be exact, is the original 1962 Shelby CSX2000 Cobra. Car enthusiasts can catch a glimpse of the most expensive American car in the world at the show opening on Friday, or anytime during the auto show at the Javits Center through Apr. 15. The car remains in the possession of its original ownery, Caroll Shelby (above), who built it.

If there’s one thing we learned from interviewing John Varvatos for his profile in the current Haute Living New York issue, it is that his love for rock ‘n’ roll inspires all areas of his life. As such, it feels entirely appropriate that he should host the launch of Commando: The Autobiography of Johnny Ramone. And he did just that.

It was announced that restaurateur, chef and Haute 100 lister Thomas Keller will be manning the stoves for the 2012 Auction Napa Valley. The 32nd annual charity wine auction May 31 through June 4 on the fairway at Meadowood Resort in Napa, Calif.
