The 2010 Whitney Biennial brings together artworks in different mediums, representing the current status of contemporary American art. Although the exhibit is smaller this year than in the past, with 55 artists from around the country, the downsize created the perfect spotlight for the featured artists to shine.

Skinny Jeans, is at it again, this time with a denim collection that features one of 12 astrological symbols studded onto the back pocket of the slimming silhouettes.

There is a little ski resort, nestled in the Swiss Alps that is a home away from home for select New Yorkers, known as Gstaad (pronounced Sh-Tah-D). Ah, Gstaad! It was also the home away from home for Elizabeth Taylor, Roger Moore, Julie Andrews, Claudia Cardinale, Peter Sellers, and Blake Edwards, to name a few. No wonder every time I visit, I feel as though I am in a scene from the film The Pink Panther.
