The next few nights were jam-packed with various annual house parties like Cynthia and Claude Ott’s and Sabrina Giuliani’s (amazing party with crazy dancers!). And Thomas Leclerc’s party — last year this party had tigers walking around the property.

To start off my trip to Europe, we flew direct to nice, where we then took a helicopter ride to get to St. Tropez. I was a little jet-lagged, but more so excited to let the week of festivities (including my birthday celebration) begin!

Yesterday I had a great catch up lunch with the publisher of Haute Living Seth Semilof at Le Charlot, a French restaurant on the Upper East Side. We chatted about all the great things we are planning for the magazine and what we are both doing this summer.

Last night was such a fun reunion of great friends. First I had a quiet dinner at Kenmare in Little Italy with Serena Boardman, Denise Kaufman and John Theo. Serena and John just returned from a three-week trip to Europe.

On Saturday night in the Hamptons, Meredith and Bryan Verona hosted a fabulous dinner at their home in Bridgehampton featuring Italian night. The al fresco dinner was decorated like an evening in Italy.

Last night, I went to Andrew Saffir’s movie screening and the party for the Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

The Hamptons were the setting for a fun-filled Fourth of July holiday weekend. Friday night, I went to Andrew Saffir’s party for the release of Grease at Katie Lee Joel’s house.

My dear friend Gary Gilbert produced an awesome movie, The Kids Are All Right, that opened tonight at Landmark Theatres Sunshine Cinema. Focus Features bought the movie from Gary at the Sundance Film Festival.
