The giant Moet and Chandon cork, “The Spirit of 1743” rose in France and has drifted all the way to the Hollywood Hills. Just in time for this Sunday’s Oscars. Coincidence? This is the fourth year Moet and Chandon are the exclusive champagne of the Oscars.

Rumors have swirled that the hot air balloon is carrying quite the treasure trove as surprised onlookers caught glimpses of “The Spirit of 1743” and noticing glimmering bottles of -allegedly- champagne.
