Southern Hospitality BBQ with two locations in Hell’s Kitchen on 645 9th Ave. and the Upper East Side on 1460 Second Ave. has a variety of specials in honor of the Oscars. Every cocktail has an Oscar themed name like the French Martini “Midnight in Paris,” the Black and Tan “War Horse” and of course a $5 “Moneyball” shot. Enjoy these tasty cocktails while watching the big show on one of the 14 HD TV’s as well as a large projection screen.
Southern Hospitality isn’t the only joint feeling festive, Hudson on 356 West 58th street is making the night a red carpet affair. With drink specials like the absinthe infused “My Week with Marilyn” and “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” a blend of Honey Vodka, Junmai Sake and Lemon Grass Syrup, you’ll be feeling like one of the stars strutting your stuff. Along with drink specials, a DJ will be spinning tracks before the show and during commercials. Also, appetizers such as Tuna Tartare with Kimchee Vinaigrette and Chocolate Panna Cotta will be served.
