After growing up in the Canary Islands, Spain, at age 16 Carmen Ucelay attended boarding school in London where she graduated with an international baccalaureate diploma. It was during her years in London when this island girl realized her eye for fashion, style and anything haute. Since crossing the Atlantic to pursue a fashion merchandising degree in Miami, Carmen has been able to gain experience as a stylist, producer and fashion editor. While still in university, Carmen has joined the fashion department at Haute Living, working with our notorious editor Jilian Sanz in bringing the latest looks, news and haute necessities to our readers. She also has her own fashion blog with fellow Haute Living fashionista Patricia Garate. This social butterfly can usually be found enjoying the Soho Beach House, experimenting with her love for photography, travelling and researching anything and everything in the fast-paced world of fashion.
