It’s almost that time of year again—Fashion Week in New York City! I look forward to these weeks in September/February all year. It’s when I feel the most inspired, and in my element.

This year marked my second consecutive New Year’s in Miami. I was joined by close friends, and even my family, since my dad was asked to host the New Year’s Eve bash at the Shore Club.

For my next blog post, I wanted to share some pictures from an event that I recently co-hosted with Ne-Yo and the Compound Foundation that he founded back in 2007. I began participating in his foundation last year with my sister Vanessa, and I knew that I wanted to continue being involved with this cause in the future.

When my friend Regina, Haute Living’s Miami Editor, asked me if I was interested in writing a blog for the magazine, I instantly loved the idea. Haute Living is a special magazine; the kind that stays ahead of the curve, and can forecast what’s next before others. I knew my fans would love the magazine too.
