What a weekend for the nightclub scene in Las Vegas. Surrender, the newest nightclub to hit The Strip, opened Friday night at Encore Las Vegas with more than 2,000 revelers breaking in the new digs. Friday night kicked off with resident deejay Steve Aoki, Surrender’s musical director, spinning the tunes and Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher in the house and kept going Saturday when Grammy Award-winning superstar and Vegas native Ne-Yo performed for 20 minutes.

Reports in the Las Vegas Review-Journal say the cabanas, which normally go for $1,000, were booked in advance for $5,000 to $15,000, and the bungalows, which usually start at $5,000 for the day rented for $20,000 to $30,o00.
