The Behemoth: Encore Beach Club Brings in the High Rollers
One of Las Vegas’ most highly anticipated new pools opened this weekend at Encore Las Vegas. Encore Beach Club debuted its 60,000 square feet Friday with 26 cabanas and eight bungalows. Reports in the Las Vegas Review-Journal say the cabanas, which normally go for $1,000, were booked in advance for $5,000 to $15,000, and the bungalows, which usually start at $5,000 for the day rented for $20,000 to $30,o00.
The beach club reportedly cost $70 million to build. Forty-foot palm trees surround three tiered pools. On the deck, you can find chaise lounges, couches and day beds with private safes. You can even find a cooler spot on the oversized lily pads that rest in shallow water or under one of the shower poles. Want to play some blackjack or craps? You can find both there without leaving the pool area.
The combined footage of the venue makes it larger than the combined square footage of XS nightclub (40,000), Tryst (10,000) and Blush (4,000) at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, the paper said. The only pool larger is the combined pools at the Hard Rock Hotel. Daytime capacity is 2,400.
Each of the eight two-story bungalows take up 350 square feet and have their own individual hot tubs, showers, furnishings and a temperature-controlled cooling and heating system.
You can still get in on the festivities tomorrow when Kaskade headlines the Sunday party with his signature blend of sexy, uplifting house music.
Encore Beach Club is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursdays from 10 p.m. to closing.
