Junior League of Miami Golf Tournament

The Junior League of Miami, an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, will host its Seventh Annual Golf Tournament to benefit its various community projects at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa. The scramble-format tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010 on the famed Blue Monster golf course. As a hole-in-one prize, The Collection has donated a 2011 Jaguar. Following the tournament, golfers, guests, and community members will attend a cocktail reception featuring live music, a silent auction and raffle, and delicious cuisine.

Individual entry fee for the golf tournament and cocktail reception is $250; a four-some is $900. Tickets to the cocktail reception are available for $50. Raffle tickets are $25 each, and prizes include a one-week stay at Interval International Resort; a three- or four-day cruise from Miami to the Bahamas on Norwegian Cruise Line, and a three-night, all-inclusive stay at one of Palace Resorts’ five-star luxury resorts in Mexico or the Dominican Republic. Silent auction items include a diamond necklace, interior design services, designer landscaping services, “Taste of Miami” collection of dining gift certificates,vacation packages, sporting equipment and more.
