The MusiCares Person of the Year Charity Gala was an evening defined by purpose, connection, generosity, and community—bringing people together in support of music professionals who need us now more than ever. A cornerstone of GRAMMY Week, this annual event not only honors the extraordinary legacy of its honorees but also serves as MusiCares’ largest fundraiser of the year, raising critical funds to support year-round programs, including disaster relief and essential services for music professionals in need.
With inspiring performances, heartfelt moments, and the support of this year’s incredible honoree, Mariah Carey—one of the most iconic performers of all time—the evening underscored the resilience and compassion of the music industry. In a time of deep division, it served as a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we come together, helping ensure MusiCares can continue its mission of supporting the humans behind the music.
Performers included GRAMMY Award–winning artists Carey, Foo Fighters with Taylor Momsen, Adam Lambert, Billy Porter, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Laufey, and Jermaine Dupri, along with GRAMMY Award nominees Charlie Puth, Kesha, Maggie Rogers, and Teddy Swims. Notable attendees also included Stevie Wonder, SZA, Kim Burrell, Rita Wilson, Gayle King, Richard Marx, and Babyface.

Epic Records Grammy Weekend Celebration

On Friday, January 30, Epic Records partnered with Hennessy to toast the label’s 2026 GRAMMY® Award nominees at an intimate celebration inside the Sunset Tower Hotel’s Terrace Room. Hosted by Epic Records President Ezekiel Lewis, the evening honored GRAMMY-nominated artists Tyla, Zara Larsson, GIVĒON, Yolanda Adams, Eddie Benjamin, and Sade, setting the tone for a weekend defined by music and momentum.
The night unfolded to a high-energy soundtrack curated by Epic Records artists Skyla Tylaa and SHOOP, alongside GRAMMY Award–winning songwriter Kawan “KP the Great” Prather, whose DJ set kept the room buzzing well into the evening. The guest list blended Epic Records artists with industry tastemakers, including Tyla, Zara Larsson, Eddie Benjamin, DDG, H3RIZON, Johnny Venus, Kent Jamz, and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, among others.
Additional guests included Usher, Wizkid, Ty Dolla $ign, Kelly Rowland, Jozzy, London on da Track, MOLIY, Kesha, Adam Lambert, and MNEK. After an evening of cocktails, conversation, and dancing, guests were treated to Sunset Tower’s iconic ice cream sundaes, personalized for the occasion. Tyla customized her “Say You Love Me” sundae with Oreos and hot fudge atop vanilla ice cream, while Zara Larsson put her own spin on the “Midnight Sunset Tower” sundae, featuring fresh berries and whipped cream on vanilla.
The celebration concluded with remarks from Ezekiel Lewis honoring Epic’s nominees, followed by DJ Skyla Tyla leading the room in a spirited rendition of “Happy Birthday,” as Hennessy surprised Tyla with a custom cake and bottle parade in celebration of her 24th birthday—ending the night on a joyful, personal note.

Janie’s Fund 7th Annual Jam for Janie GRAMMY Awards Viewing Party

Janie’s Fund—the philanthropic initiative founded by music legend and humanitarian Steven Tyler—hosted its 7th Annual Jam for Janie GRAMMY Awards® Viewing Party, marking the organization’s 10th anniversary year. Presented by Live Nation and held at the iconic Hollywood Palladium, the gala brought together music, philanthropy, and purpose in celebration of music’s biggest night, while raising critical funds for Janie’s Fund’s life-changing work.
The evening included a live viewing of the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast, a live auction, and a series of powerful performances from Tyler, Matt Sorum featuring Robin Zander, Marcus King, Chris Robinson, Nuno Bettencourt, Billy Corgan, and James LoMenzo. Guests were also treated to a surprise appearance by YUNGBLUD, who joined the celebration following his GRAMMY win for Best Rock Performance earlier in the evening.
The gala raised $4.1 million in support of Janie’s Fund’s mission to provide hope, healing, and long-term resources for girls and young women who have experienced trauma. This year’s fundraising efforts were dedicated to building at least two new Janie’s Houses, expanding access to safe, trauma-informed housing nationwide.
Hosted by actress and longtime Janie’s Fund supporter Melissa Joan Hart, the evening unfolded with deeply moving moments as speakers highlighted the organization’s growth and impact. Janie’s Fund supporters, executives, and Janie’s girls took the stage to share personal stories of resilience and transformation.
Musical moments continued throughout the evening, with The London Essentials keeping the room energized with crowd favorites, while the after-party brought together Steven Tyler’s closest collaborators for a late-night jam session. Performances included appearances by Robin Zander, Marcus King, Chris Robinson, and Billy Corgan—who shared a special onstage moment with his daughter—before Tyler closed the night with a series of iconic collaborations, culminating in a collective rendition of The Beatles’ “Come Together.” Additional attendees included Paris Jackson, Tiffany Haddish, Carmen Electra, Evan Ross, Taylor Momsen, Flavor Flav, Taylor Dayne, Tia Carrere, Hilary Roberts, Ana Cristina Cash, and John Paul DeJoria, among others.

VIPs including Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor, Damson Idris, Shaboozey, Jhené Aiko, Amaya Espinal, Keith Lee, Odeal, and more gathered at Los Angeles hotspot Spotlight for the fourth annual Opulence GRAMMYs After-Party, hosted by Lenny S and Carver Guru. The invite-only celebration brought together artists, industry leaders, and tastemakers for a stylish close to music’s biggest night, powered by D’Usse.
Dressed in chic, all-black looks, GRAMMY winners, nominees, and presenters toasted standout wins and defining cultural moments from the evening. The energy stayed high as guests danced to sets by Chase B, DJ Tunez, Odeal, Ramsey Austin, and DJ Nitrane, carrying the momentum of the ceremony well into the night.
