Miami Beach’s historic Española Way welcomes an exciting new culinary chapter with the debut of The Joyce and The Window at The Joyce, two complementary dining concepts from the newly established Spicy Hospitality Group. Founded by visionary art collector Andre Sakhai, entrepreneur Marc Lotenberg, and celebrated Chef James Taylor, these innovative venues merge high art with masterful cuisine, promising to invigorate the city’s vibrant culinary scene.

The Window at The Joyce, which opened in December, offers a casual yet elevated take on classic American street fare. Chef James Taylor, renowned for his culinary expertise honored at Michelin-starred establishments, spent over three years perfecting the ultimate burger recipe for this venture. The menu includes burgers, fried fish sandwiches, wings, and milkshakes, with each dish meticulously crafted for bold, satisfying flavors. Guests can enjoy their meals at a walk-up order window or on a cozy outdoor patio, creating an intimate alfresco dining experience.

Set to open on January 10, The Joyce brings a sophisticated, speakeasy-inspired dining experience to Miami Beach. With a curated menu that includes Caviar & Latkes, King Crab Scampi, and an internationally sourced selection of steaks, The Joyce elevates Miami’s steakhouse scene. The 45-seat restaurant blends high-quality ingredients and technique-driven cooking with an intimate, art-filled setting, creating a destination where culinary artistry meets fine dining.

Chef James Taylor, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained talent, leads the kitchens for both concepts. His distinguished career includes roles at Michelin-starred establishments such as Roister and Alinea in Chicago, where he mastered the art of technique-driven cooking. At The Joyce, his passion for bold, well-executed flavors is evident in every dish, from the signature King Crab Scampi to the steak menu, which showcases meticulous preparation and sourcing.

Adding a unique dimension, Andre Sakhai’s expertise as an art collector brings a rotating curation of world-class art to The Joyce. Iconic works by legends like Picasso and Basquiat are displayed alongside pieces from today’s emerging artists, creating an immersive experience that blends culture and cuisine. The dining area features collectible furniture by Italian architect Gio Ponti and modern bar stools by Joe Colombo, enhancing the space’s sophisticated yet inviting ambiance.
