Pastis at The Nora, Élephante and Stephen Starr on Worth Avenue: Palm Beach’s New Restaurants
New restaurants in Palm Beach this fall: Pastis and Jack's Bar open at The Nora Hotel on Oct. 19, with Élephante and Avenue 31 still to come.
Palm Beach season starts in October, and the new restaurants in Palm Beach and West Palm Beach are arriving right on cue: Pastis and Jack’s Bar open with The Nora Hotel in West Palm Beach’s Nora District on October 19, 2026, with the Lillys rooftop, Élephante on Royal Poinciana Way and George x Avenue 31 on South County Road still to come. Further out is the one that will reshape the most recognized shopping street in South Florida — Stephen Starr’s first Palm Beach restaurant, planned for the former Neiman Marcus building on Worth Avenue.
Pastis at The Nora Hotel, West Palm Beach — Opens October 19

The anchor restaurant of The Nora Hotel, which opens October 19 at 1135 North Railroad Avenue in West Palm Beach’s Nora District. Pastis, the Parisian-style brasserie that Keith McNally opened in New York’s Meatpacking District in 1999, became one of the most celebrated restaurant closures in recent memory when it shuttered in 2014; Stephen Starr helped bring it back in New York in 2019, then took it to Miami, Washington, D.C., and Nashville, making West Palm Beach its fifth location. More than 13,300 square feet of indoor and outdoor space on the ground floor brings the full Pastis formula to the Nora District, with the classic Parisian brasserie design and a menu of French classics. Pastis Privé, a private event venue, operates alongside the main dining room. STARR Restaurants also handles in-room dining throughout the hotel.
Macs 44 | West Palm Beach — Opening Date TBA
The most theatrical new concept arriving in the Nora District this season is Macs 44, opening in December at 825 N. Railroad Avenue from Mama Hospitality, the group behind Mary Lou’s and Lillys at The Nora Hotel. The 80-seat, 3,600-square-foot venue is built around a single premise: performance is the main event, not the backdrop. Each evening unfolds through an intentionally programmed show combining live music, vocal performance, choreography, and theatrical entertainment, with the energy of the room evolving throughout the night. The space was designed by co-founder Alex Melillo and Jason Volenec of Volenec Studios around a stage as its physical and creative focal point. The food and beverage program is deliberately edited — caviar service, small raw plates, luxury bar snacks, and late-night classics alongside a beverage program that takes center stage. A liquor locker program allows regular guests to keep favorite bottles on property. The name draws from Michael “Mr. Mac” McEvoy, grandfather of Mama Hospitality co-founders Topher and Dottie Grubb, a prominent American executive who was also a trained opera singer and consummate host. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 6 PM to 2 AM. Coming December 2026.
Jack’s Bar at The Nora Hotel, West Palm Beach — Opens October 19
The lobby bar of The Nora Hotel opens alongside Pastis on October 19. Jack’s Bar occupies the hotel’s ground floor lobby, designed by GACHOT with pecky cypress woodwork and custom furniture drawing on Spanish Colonial Revival and early 20th-century Mediterranean influences. For the most specifically West Palm Beach bar experience available at a hotel that arrives already knowing what it wants to be, Jack’s is the right place to start the evening before moving to dinner at Pastis or up to the Lillys rooftop.
Lillys at The Nora Hotel, West Palm Beach — Opening Date TBA

The Nora Hotel’s rooftop restaurant and pool concept, conceived and developed by Mama Hospitality, the group behind Mary Lou’s in Palm Beach, Miami, and Montauk. Lillys spans three distinct areas across the rooftop: Lillys Pool, the outdoor pool and lounge experience; Bar Lilly, a full-service rooftop bar; and Cafe Lilly, a more casual café component. For a rooftop experience in West Palm Beach developed by one of the most credentialed hospitality groups operating in the Palm Beach market, Lillys is the most anticipated rooftop arrival of the season.
Élephante on Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach — Opening Date TBA
The Los Angeles-born Mediterranean restaurant with locations in Santa Monica and Scottsdale is making its Florida debut at 207 Royal Poinciana Way on Palm Beach, taking over the former Almond space on the island’s most active stretch of Royal Poinciana Way. Élephante is a design-forward, upscale Mediterranean concept from Wish You Were Here Group, founded by Nick Mathers, whose restaurants sit somewhere between a serious dining room and a social destination. The Palm Beach outpost is planned with 284 seats across indoor and outdoor dining, valet service, and live music. A companion market and bakery with coffee, grab-and-go bites, and retail items is planned next door at 208-210 Sunset Avenue. No confirmed opening date has been announced. Coming this season.
George x Avenue 31 on South County Road, Palm Beach — Opening Date TBA
The most dramatically positioned new arrival of the season occupies 380 South County Road on Palm Beach, in the former Le Bar à Vin space, and brings the Monte Carlo luxury dining brand Avenue 31 to the island for the first time. Born on Avenue Princesse Grace in Monaco, Avenue 31 is known for refined Italian-Mediterranean cooking — veal piccata with lemon, tagliolini with langoustines, miso black cod — and the Palm Beach location introduces a new dimension to the brand: a dedicated evening lounge and nightclub component operating alongside the dining room on both floors of the building. The Palm Beach Town Council has approved the project’s site plans, the Palm Beach Daily News reported on October 7, 2026. No confirmed opening date has been announced. Coming this season.
Stephen Starr at 151 Worth Avenue, Palm Beach — As Early as December 2027
The most consequential new restaurant announcement for Worth Avenue in years is a standalone concept from Stephen Starr at 151 Worth Avenue, the former Neiman Marcus building that has been vacant since the store closed in 2020. On September 9, the Palm Beach Town Council conditionally approved a 165-seat restaurant for the space, with 126 indoor dining seats, seven bar seats, and 32 outdoor balcony seats along Worth Avenue. Town staff confirmed the concept is a standalone restaurant created specifically for Palm Beach, not a chain location. Starr’s South Florida presence accelerated in 2026 with Slim’s at Bal Harbour Shops, which opened in March, and Pastis at The Nora Hotel. The Worth Avenue restaurant, tentatively named Room Service and described by Starr as a neighborhood restaurant with a steakhouse influence, still needs additional town approvals and could open as early as December 2027.
