The extravagant cover dinner for the accomplished culinary artist was held at none other than his latest endeavor. Designed in collaboration with Hotel Barrier, Pierre Gagnaire has unveiled his first New York City restaurant, Fouquet’s, turning his lifelong ambition into a reality. The restaurant brings the elegant culinary repertoire of France to the city that never sleeps and offers the perfect backdrop to commend the chef for his work. The night offered an immersive culinary experience to all guests and served as an admirable introduction of his long-lasting legacy to the new city.

Proving the grandeur of the new restaurant was a four-course gourmet meal. The night started off with white asparagus and mousseline sauce, salmon in Bellevue, and fluke carpaccio with fleur de sel. Following the appetizers were a variety of savory main courses including fricassee of Maine lobster, beef tenderloin, Fouquet’s Ratatouille, and a classic French sole meunière dish. The second half of the main event consisted of an exclusive guided tasting of The Macallan 25 followed by dessert options of seasonal ice cream and sorbet selections and Fouquet’s famous chocolate cake.
