Haute Event: Outfest’s Opening Night Gala of Howl

The 28th annual Gay and Lesbian Film Festival Outfest kicked-off with a screening of Howl, the hypnotic new biopic about Allen Ginsberg and his most famous poem, starring James Franco.

The screening was followed by an opening-night gala after party. Glee star Jane Lynch walked the red carpet with her wife Lara Embry en route to accept the Outfest Achievement award for her body of work. Lynch received the award from Emmy-nominated Chris Colfer and Emmy-nominated director Paris Barclay.
