The Miami night owls were in full swing this weekend from exclusive grand opening parties, to endless nights at some of the city’s most haute nightlife destinations. Here’s a look at some of the best weekend highlights:
MISO SYMPHONY AT MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT
The Miami Symphony Orchestra held a community event at Palm Court on Friday evening with special guests and performances from Emily Estefan along with vocalists Kyng David, Lena Burke and Danny Daniel. Notable attendees included Craig Robins, Eduardo Marturet, Athina Marturet, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Iran Issa Khan, Karolina Kurkova, Archie Drury, Petra Nemcova and more.
FACES OF THE WORLD EXHIBITION

On Friday night, The Faces of the World Exhibition debuted with a vernissage kick-off event at brand-new Miami River haute spot, Kiki on the River. Photographer Viveca Ljung debuted the exhibition, which featured a collection of 180 photographs of children, showcasing the multi-racial children who were born or raised in Miami—the melting pot of all cultures. The portraits displayed their natural innocence.
FOUR SEASONS AT SURF CLUB OPENING PARTY
Miami’s new posh destination at the long-awaited Four Seasons renovated Surf Club held an exclusive debut party on Saturday night for an elite group to get a first-glimpse of the breathtaking resort. The final product is a masterpiece designed by Richard Meier and Joseph Dirand and is set to be Miami’s new must-go destination for the A-listers.
DMX, JERMAINE DUPRI AND BOW WOW AT E11EVEN
Celebs flooded the famed Miami nightclub for a special performance by DMX, which kept the crowd going until sunrise. Recent Superbowl Winner Rob Gronkowski partied alongside Jermaine Dupree and Bow Wow in the DJ booth throughout the night.
DOUGLAS ELLIMAN WINTER EQUESTRIAN GALA
Douglas Elliman hosted a swanky soirée at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington on Saturday evening with honorary event co-chairs Georgina Bloomberg and Jimmy Torano. The event supported two notable equine charities during the second World Cup Qualifier: Give a Buck for Special Equestrians, a Florida-based nonprofit 501C3, which funds therapeutic riding programs along the eastern seaboard, and The Rider’s Closet, a non-profit organization founded by Georgina Bloomberg, which provides riding equipment and attire to special needs and underprivileged riders. The gorgeous affair took place in the gallery overlooking the Grand Prix Show ring as guests enjoyed live music, dinner, cocktails and a silent auction.
