Cocktails of the Week: Top New York Bartenders on How to Celebrate Fashion Week
The Little Black Dress (created by Tommy Warren of Bedford & Co., above).
Why it’s fit for Fashion Week:
“Little Black Dress invites surprise,” says Warren. “With grapefruit and St. Germain the taste is light and fruity, yet the appearance of the drink is far from girly. Activated charcoal is not only responsible for this drink’s jet black color, but it also has benefits to keep you feeling your best all week. It whitens teeth, alleviates bloat, prevents hangovers, and rids the body of toxins.”
Ingredients
I2 oz Hendrick’s Gin
.75 oz. ruby red grapefruit juice
.5 oz. St. Germaine
1/8 tsp of activated charcoal powder.
Ingrid Bergman (created by Jim Kearns of Slowly Shirley)

Why it’s fit for Fashion Week:
“Named after the Swedish Hollywood actress, Ingrid Bergman was a style icon in the 40s,” says Jim Kearns. “This cocktail is an ode to her glamour mixing Champagne and accents of lemony citrus zest.”
Ingredients:
1 dash GF bitters
1 dash Absinthe
1/2 lemon syrup
1/2 Cedrat
1/2 beer distillate
Stir. Top with Champagne; GF zest, not dropped in.
