Congratulations are in order for Haute 100 lister Eva Longoria as she tied the knot with José Antonio Bastón, president of Latin American media brand Televisa, over the weekend.
Congratulations are in order for Haute 100 lister Eva Longoria as she tied the knot with José Antonio Bastón, president of Latin American media brand Televisa, over the weekend. The two wed in Valle de Bravo, Mexico, a lakeside town roughly 88 miles from Mexico City.
In exclusive photos posted on social media by Al Rojo Vivo, a Telemundo news program, Longoria and Bastón were seen exchanging vows in front of a giant white cross overlooking the lake. According to PEOPLE, the ceremony was officiated by a Father Pedro in both English and Spanish. While the 41-year-old actress did not have any brides maids, Bastón’s daughters, Tali and Mariana, walked down the aisle prior to the couple.
Following the ceremony, Hola! USA reported guests dined on a meal created by chefs Eduardo Kholman and Enrique Olvera, while the newlyweds danced to Colombian singer Carlos Vives’ “Volví a Nacer” for their first dance. Longoria’s friend and former co-star Vanessa Williams surprised the newlyweds and guests with a performance of Williams’ 1991 hit song “Save the Best For Last.”
Longoria’s classic wedding gown was designed by BFF Victoria, while Bastón was draped in a three-piece suit from Brunello Cucinelli. Guests included fellow Haute 100 listers David and Victoria Beckham as well as Penélope Cruz, Ricky Martin, Katy Perry, Mario Lopez, and more. The night was capped off with fireworks. The couple is slated to honeymoon through June 9th.
Earlier this month, Longoria attended George Lopez’s ninth annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic. The event raised funds for The George Lopez Foundation; the charity’s mission is to create positive, permanent change for underprivileged children, adults and military families confronting challenges in education and health, as well as increasing community awareness about kidney disease and organ donation. It was hosted by Lopez, the tournament format was “Two Man Modified Best Ball” of five-somes with full handicap.
