Following what seems like an eternity, Tesla Motors Model X customers could finally get their electric crossover on Tuesday, Sept. 29th.

According to  Green Car Reports, customers building the Model X Signature Series on the reservation page online are now seeing its EPA-estimated range at 250 miles, compared to 240 miles just a few weeks ago.

Every Model X will feature all-wheel drive and the option of a 60 or 85 kWh battery. The Model X Performance version will accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds. This would make Model X faster than many sports cars, including the Porsche 911 Carrera, according to an initial press release. Functional Falcon Wing rear doors fold up and out of the way to allow easy access to third row seats, according to Tesla.

In addition, the 17”, touchscreen in-dash display includes driver controls, vehicle apps, web connectivity and onboard charging.

The company first introduced the automobile in February 2012 at its design studio in southern California. Production began at the end of 2013. Originally, Tesla Motors hoped to ship out the first round of deliveries at the beginning of 2014, however; shipping has been delayed for nearly 18 months.

If you’re interested in reserving a Model X, you’ll have to dish out a cool $5,000. Reservations made this week will not receive a delivery until 2016.

No other details have been released.

Elon Musk, the chief executive officer of Tesla Motors Inc. and privately-held SpaceX, has a lot to celebrate. Most recently, SpaceX announced two new contracts. According to the press release, the contracts include launch of a communications satellite for HISPASAT on a Falcon 9 and launch of the Saudi Arabian Arabsat 6A communications satellite on a Falcon Heavy.

“We are pleased to add these additional launches to our manifest,” said Gwynne Shotwell, President and COO of SpaceX. “The diversity of our missions and customers represents a strong endorsement of our capabilities and reflects SpaceX’s efforts to provide a breadth of launch services to our growing customer base.”

The launches are slated for Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida between late-2017 and 2018.
