Haute Spots Dubai: Gastronomer’s Dinner At Emirates Towers
If you haven’t been to the Jumeirah Emirates Towers since the beginning of the month, you’re missing out on something fabulous. Three of the restaurants in the towers have teamed up for the Gastronomer’s Dinner, a three-course meal with one course at each of the three restaurants. Jumeirah Restaurant Group Dubai is offering the dinner, which celebrates three of the city’s best high-end restaurants. The meal starts at Alta Badia Bar, then moves to The Rib Room for the main course, and finishes up with dessert at The Ivy.

The Gastronomer’s Dinner begins with Cocktails at Altitude at Alta Badia Bar, which is located on the 51st floor of the Emirates Towers. With the cocktails, diners are treated to an amuse bouche and an aperitif. Next it’s onward to the private chef’s table at the Alta Badia Restaurant where appetizers and sparkling grape drinks are served.

After completing the first course, diners go to The Rib Room to tuck into the Butcher’s Block, the restaurant’s signature dish, which includes short ribs, lamb cutlets, tenderloin steak, and mini burgers. All that meat is served up on a wood chopping block.

As if it’s possible to still have room left after the first two gigantic courses, dessert’s on tap at The Ivy where diners can select from a dessert platter. Then there’s an interactive cocktail demo and a salted caramel martini to top the night off.
The Emirates Towers started offering the Gastronomer’s Dinner on Aug. 1, and it’s priced at AED750 per person. There’s only one seating a day at 7:30, and bookings are for up to 10 guests at a time, although you can make special arrangements for larger parties by calling ahead.
