Krystal Schelegel’s eponymous blog is a visual treat for fashion lovers. Filled with her takes on style, shopping, travel and trends, the blog has been featured in such magazines as Vogue and Town & Country, and Krystal’s eye for fashion has led to past partnerships with Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Refinery 29. We spoke with Krystal to learn her haute, super-stylish secrets.

How did your blog come to be: While spending the Summer of 2010 in Paris at floral design school, I started a lifestyle blog showcasing my journal of travel and outfit photos. After completing a degree in Advertising and Journalism at Southern Methodist University, I moved to New York to work as a freelance stylist. I later returned to my roots in Texas where my blog developed into my full-time business.
Where were you born: Dallas
What brought you back to Dallas: I was born and raised in Dallas, and after graduating from Southern Methodist University, I moved to New York City. But I missed the Southern Hospitality. I moved back home and feel lucky to be able to travel often for work from coast to coast.
