New Year’s Eve Hotel Parties in SF
The last night of the year is just two short weeks away and if you haven’t made New Year’s Eve plans yet, we recommend you call up one of the following hotels and reserve a spot at their spectacular hotel parties.
1. Hotel Vitale
Say good bye to 2014 at the Vitale’s “No Resolutions” Catch Me if You Can-themed New Year’s Eve party. Co-hosted with Crossroads and Vintage415, the gala features open top shelf bar (Ketel One, Don Julio, Brugal), two dance floors, and passed hor d’oeuvres from the hotel’s restaurant and bar, The Americano. The bar’s patio will be covered with a special 3,000 square foot heated tent that will house a dance floor, bottle service tables, and stage. A VIP ticket grants you access to the private roof deck party that’s sure to have a stunning view of the midnight fireworks show over the bay.

2. The Warwick San Francisco
The fabulous folks at downtown’s recently remodeled Warwick want you to grab your favorite peeps and book an entire floor. The Warwick Full Floor Takeover package offer a group of people 12 guest rooms and suites with different bed and style layouts. The rooms will be stocked with celebratory amenities like party favors and Champagne and the minibars will have hangover remedies. Your group has exclusive access to hold court at the hotel’s swanky lounge area at The European. The kitchen at Aveline is providing bites and the next morning the crew is invited to a complimentary breakfast buffet that the Warwick will set up in the floor’s largest suite. Lastly, you’re granted late checkout, so you don’t have to worry about ending the party right at midnight.

3. The Mystic Hotel
At Charlie Palmer’s Mystic Hotel, they’re throwing a Roaring 20’s themed New Year’s party. There’s two options for party goers: the first involves a late four-course meal at the Burritt Tavern at 7 pm, followed by entry into the party, that will be filled with live jazz music and festive decor, at 9 pm. The second option is entry to the party itself that begins at 10 pm. Revelors can snack on light hors d’oeuvres and participate in a Champagne toast at midnight. There’s also a special Champagne cocktail menu with three tantalizing concoctions with housemade ingredients like strawberry bitters and riesling shrub. Costumes are encouraged!
At the Hotel Palomar’s sleek new bar, Dirty Habit, there’s a VIP culinary and drink experience on offer. Inside the VIP lounge guests can enjoy an assortment of spirits including a Champagne station, craft cocktails like Cinnamon Toast Punch and barrel-aged Sherry Negronis, private bar of top shelf spirits (Appleton, Grey Goose, Bulleit), and a selection of red and white wines and beer. There’s also plenty to nosh on, from a raw bar with oysters and ceviche to passed appetizers like beef tartare and caviar to hot food stations with carved lamb and roasted squash agnolotti with white truffles. For dessert there’s pear almond beignets, chocolate ice cream sandwiches, and yuzu pops with whiskey caramel.

5. The Clift
The Clift Hotel is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary on New Year’s Eve with a spectacular black-tie red carpet event from 8 pm to 2 am. The 1900s-themed party will have four separate areas with varying festivities including a Billy Holiday tribute, silent film showcase, Ziegfeld Follies show, and musical performance by DJ Donovan. There’s complimentary bubbles and apps from 8-9 pm and tables can be purchased.
