Sheltering Sky: NYC’s Hottest New Rooftop Venue

Last week in collaboration with the Chelsea Hotel, Nur Khan unveiled his first hotel partnership and new nightlife venue: Sheltering Sky, a new rooftop venue atop Williamsburg’s McCarren Hotel & Pool. Now, as partner at McCarren Hotel & Pool, Nur Khan has helped create a robust hospitality experience, refreshing both the outdoor pool program and completely revamping the rooftop bar as the new Sheltering Sky.

Spotted among many other notables guests were Michael Avedon, Jamie Burke, Shaughnessy Brown, Alex Carapetis, Sante D’Orazio, Elle Dee, Becka Diamond, Erin Heatherton, Jesse Frohman, Katie Gallagher, Harif Guzman, Jude Law, Lane Lindell, Nemo Librizzi, Courtney Love, Tarryn Manning, Sean Pertwee, Eve Therond, and Mila De Wit.

Guests enjoyed a two-night celebration, drank bubbles by Moet, and danced to musical performances by Skaters and DJ sets by Nancy Whang (LCD Soundsystem/The Juan Maclean), Justine D, Little Dragon, and Questlove.
