Donna Karan Hosts Private Event for Ilana Goor
Art met fashion in NYC on May 19 when fashion designer Donna Karan hosted a private reception at Urban Zen honoring the work of artist Ilana Goor. Well known for her sculptures and iron and bronze furniture design, Goor’s many admirers include President Bill Clinton, Robert De Niro, Vice President Al Gore, the late Michael Jackson, the Dalai Lama, Diana Ross and the late Andy Warhol.
Notable attendees included Edmundo Castillo, Alina Cho, Donna D’Cruz, Douglas Hannant, Miss USA 2012 Nana Meriwether, and Stephen and Miriam Ruzow.
Goor’s exhibition runs through May 29th.
