FOG Design+Art Fair Preview Gala
Design aficionados and art lovers attended the preview gala for the FOG Design + Art Fair, the winter modernism exhibition featuring the country’s leading art and design galleries at the Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion from January 17-19.
The gala, co-chaired by Eileen and Peter Michael and Cathy and Ned Topham, honored the work and commitment of former SFMOMA Board Chair Elaine McKeon. McKeon, along with the steering committee of Douglas Durkin, Stanlee Gatti, SFMOMA board member Katie Paige and Allison Speer, conceived of this event and was a strong champion of the museum’s Department of Architecture and Design. Leaders in the design industry, SFMOMA patrons and supporters, VIP guests, and top-level sponsors enjoyed an evening of culinary creations and signature cocktails along with entertainment by Jason Kendig (Honey Soundsystem). Event sponsors included Gap, Airbnb, Christie’s, Dwell, San Francisco magazine, ABC7, Artsy and Ketel One. Proceeds from the FOG Preview Gala supported SFMOMA’s On the Go exhibitions and innovative.
