Ronnie Lott, Andrés Torres and Renel Brooks Moon Honored at Glide Legacy Gala
The Metreon was a-buzz as 1,200 guests celebrated the 4th annual Glide Legacy Gala. The annual black-tie affair was an evening of music, dance and celebration that recognized the important work of up-and-coming change agents who are dedicated to improving the lives of others. This year’s honorees included 49ers alum Ronnie Lott, SF Giants outfielder Andrés Torres and Bay Area broadcasting personality and voice of the SF Giants Renel Brooks Moon.
With a hosted bar and hors d’oeuvres from some of San Francisco’s finest restaurants, the evening’s entertainment included the inspirational Glide Ensemble and Change Band along with vocal power-house Lara Johnston, and DJ KingMost.
The evening also included an eBay auction featuring everything from a Taylor Swift autographed Baby Taylor guitar to a San Francisco Giants 2013 Season VIP experience for four, music, food, wine, travel, sports, beauty and other lifestyle experiences.
Glide has continued its 50-year legacy providing comprehensive services to the poor and marginalized in the San Francisco community.
