Beyoncé Dry Cleans Borrowed Clothes and Returns Them With a Thank You Note
Beyoncé is one classy lady! When the 31-year-old pop superstar borrows an outfit for an event or photoshoot, she makes sure to return the clothes in pristine condition and send a thank you note to the designer.
Fashion guru Rubin Singer recently dressed Beyoncé in a hand-embroidered gold unitard for a private concert on New Year’s Eve and couldn’t say enough nice things about Bey and her sister Solange. “[They are] the only celebrities that always dry clean and send clothes back in a box, with a hand-written thank you note,” he told Glamour. “They are true ladies.”
Singer had just two weeks to design the intricate garment, have the fabric embroidered in India, shipped back to the States, and finally, tailor it for Beyoncé. “When you do a fitting with her, she doesn’t keep you waiting half a day like some celebrities do,” he revealed. “When she’s there, she’s present and honest and grateful.”
