Steve Dumain has launched Be&D in New York in 2004. The collection consists of shoes, handbags and accessories and is known for its blend of old-world craftsmanship and modern creative vision. This hands-on tradition has defined Be&D as a flourishing brand with a distinct sense of self. Dumain is the sole Creative Director of the brand; his passion for travel and appreciation for fine craft and sculpture has allowed him to create accessories that are true works of art. Sensual leather and skins and noticeable hardware are always found on the brand’s new and classic designs, and this seamless aesthetic continues with each collection. Dumain’s main focus at Be&D is on the ‘forward’ in fashion, but at the same time always staying true to classic artistry. He believes an artist’s hands can create infinite possibilities, Be&D continues to grow as an innovative brand that leaves you wanting more.
