Julien Farel
After training in the French Alps, and with Jacques Dessange, Julien Farel moved to NYC in the mid 90s to continue his career as a master hair stylist at Frederic Fekkai. In 2001, he opened his eponymous salon and has tamed the tresses of celebrities like Salma Hayek, Kate Moss, Ivanka Trump, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Catherine Deneuve, Natasha Richardson, Richard Gere, Kate Beckinsale, and America Ferrera, among a long list of other A-listers. Today is revered as a creative genius in his field.
