Inside InStyle Magazines Oscar Viewing Bash

There’s always the party before the party in Los Angeles, and Oscar night is the absolute king. There were no less than 5 viewing parties, with InStyle Magazine’s bash being one of the most sought after of the night.

While the champagne was flowing, stars, agents, and their arm candy mingled and networked for the next 3.5 hours.

Some of the celebs flitting in and out included Jason Lewis, (Samantha’s love from the series, Sex and the City, and the film, Sex and the City (now known as #1), Hayden Panettiere, AJ Buckley (CSI: New York), Perrey Reeves (Entourage), Jessica Lowndes (90210), Jared Harris (Mad Men) and new girlfriend, Allegra Riggio, Morgan Spurlock, (Supersize Me), Malin Ackerman, producer Christine Peters and Jamie-Lynn Sigler.

As always at these parties, there was little food and a lot of alcohol – though what food there was to be had was yummy: One side of the room you had mac ‘n’ cheese, oysters on the half shell, filet mignon. On the other, popcorn, Milk Duds, Whoppers and Smores (obviously they were trying to evoke the whole ‘going to the movies’ experience, which didn’t really work.

Despite the over three hour running time, a good time was had by all.
