Ellen DeGeneres Sells Beverly Hills Home to Ryan Seacrest for $37 M
Recently, American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest has made quite a big purchase, after buying the Beverly Hills home of Ellen DeGeneres. The hysterical television personality purchased the home for $37 million which is quite a deal, even though as of last fall the home was listed at $49 million and before that nearly $60 million, according to Wall Street Journal and Realtor.com.
For Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi this home held many memories. In 2008, the couple wed there among friends and family, not to mention it has been a work in progress over the years. The estate has four separate parcels which were purchased over the years, taking up 3 acres of land that features the main house that sprawls over 9,200 sq. ft., and three guest homes.
Well, it seems both celebrities are settling in their new homes. This past December, Ellen and Portia purchased Brad Pitt’s Malibu estate for a whopping $12 million. While, the LA home Seacrest purchased from Kevin Costner is now listed for sale at $12 million.
