January Jones and La Mer to host exclusive screening of La Revolution Bleue
Mad Men’s hautest housewife and luxury skin care heavy-hitters will host an exclusive screening of artist Yves Klein’s ‘La Revolution Bleue’ on May 3 at the chic Paris Theatre for art auction power-players, Christie’s.
January Jones (aka Betty Draper) and La Mer will present ‘La Revolution Bleue,’ a documentary chronicling the creation of Klein’s famed FC 1 painting, giving industry insiders a chance to witness the artist’s brilliance.
The painting is currently set to break the world record for the artist at auction with an expected sale price of $30M. A portion of proceeds from the painting’s sale will benefit Oceana, the world’s largest international ocean advocacy organization.
The world’s hautest art afficianodos in attendance will sip custom Grey Goose cocktails along side notable guests like Susan and David Rockafeller, Ted Danson, Steven Murphy and of course Oceana ambassador Ms. Jones herself.
The painting will be sold at Christie’s Post War and Contemporary Evening sale on May 8.
