Decades Boutique To Hold Charity Trunk Show

News | April 26, 2012

On Tuesday May 1, the public will have a chance to indulge in haute vintage fashions, while simultaneously supporting a great cause.

West Coast Fashionistas Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos of Decades, a Los Angeles-based vintage boutique and celebrity haute-spot will be holding a Prada/Schiaparelli inspired trunk show at The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Thrift Shop on New York’s Upper East Side.

Just in time for the highly-anticipated Costume Institute Gala at the MET, patrons will have their pick of chic designer fashions, as well as the peace of mind that they are helping a worthy cause. Among the to-die for fashions up for sale are a YSL leopard dress, a black quilted leather Chanel bag and a pair of Gucci pony-hair boots.

Public trunk show hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 1 and May 2.  A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit patient care, education and research programs provided by the Society of MSKCC.
