Haute Event: Splendid Opens First NYC Boutique With Dylan’s Candy Bar Party

On Thursday April 19, LA-based lifestyle brand Splendid celebrated its new store opening in New York City’s Soho area with a special bash in partnership with Dylan’s Candy Bar.

Party-goers such as Brooklyn Decker, Kate Mara and Gretchen Mol snacked on sweet treats while checking out the new 2,500 square foot space, Splendid’s first store in New York which carries pieces for women, men, kids and babies. Solange Knowles also kept the vibe alive providing the music the party.

To mark the casual-chic brand’s introduction to the Big Apple, Splendid continued its partnership with Dylan’s Candy Bar and created a limited edition collection of colorful, cozy blankets. Dylan Lauren herself, founder and CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar, designed the capsule collection, expertly mixing Splendid’s bold colors, signature stripes and uber-soft fabrics into irresistible concoctions.

All ten styles from the “Dylan’s Candy Bar for Splendid” capsule collection were unveiled on April 19 at the celebration. Incorporating both Dylan’s and Splendid’s love of animals, all proceeds from the capsule benefit the SPCA of Monmouth County, an animal rescue center close to Dylan’s heart.
