Gary Nader Hosts Preview for Miami’s First Auction House
Gary Nader was joined by the world’s most prominent art collectors and Basel enthusiasts for a private dinner and auction preview at his Wynwood gallery. The event’s media sponsor was none other than Haute Living Magazine.
More than 400 guests enjoyed bites from Bongos Cuban Café and previewed items available for bidding Dec. 1. Highlights included master works by Picasso, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Damien Hirst and miniature homes from Un Techo Para Mi País, a nonprofit organization that builds homes for the impoverished in more than 19 Latin American countries.
The launch is a prequel to next year’s series of auctions which will include cars, wines, antiques and more, to become Miami’s first full auction house—the largest outside of New York and London. Notable attendees included Gary Nader, legendary developer Jorge Perez and Univision television personality Lili Estefan, among others.
