A house renowned for its intricate craftsmanship of leather goods, BottegaVeneta reopened its San Francisco store October 13. San Francisco’s fashionable set milled about the store’s interior at the event hosted by Sloan Barnett, Carol Bonnie and Alison Pincus, held in support of the California Pacific Medical Center.
Upon guests’ arrival in the soaring entryway, their eyes feasted upon the signature leather goods expertly displayed and the beautifully deconstructed lace and grosgrain ribbon of the Fall/Winter collection dresses, many of which also adorned their fellow attendees.
Fear not, only white wine and Prosecco were served that night to keep the clothing immaculate. Caviar and cream in a miniature potato skin and seared duck breast on forbidden rice cake were perfect compliments.
Even though it was mostly a fête to celebrate the sleek new interior design and space, many clients just couldn’t help themselves, purchasing selected Bottega items that night and for a good cause. In the spirit of charity, BottegaVenetta of San Francisco will donate 10 percent of all sales from October 12-19 to the CPMC Foundation Wishes for Wellness – not that one needs any additional reason to purchase one of the iconic woven clutches.
A very special pair of white boucle, anthracite crystal heels that took center stage in the shoe collection and seemed to perfectly capture the spirit of the night – glittering, well- heeled and festive.
