Celebrity Living: Live Like “The King” for a Month

Many adoring fans would only dream of obtaining a little momento or glimpse into Elvis Presley’s life let alone getting to live in his Beverly Hills Mansion. Now, for a small fee of $25,000, any Elvis enthusiast can live in his former sprawling Beverly-Hills mansion for a month.

As stated in the Zillow Blog, the Beverly Hills home has recently been renovated with a new kitchen, laundry room, state of the art appliance, resurfaced pool and spa and a completely redone floor and updated electrical work, all finished with a fresh coat of paint.  This house is nothing short of marveling at; with floor-to-ceiling windows with views from the North side of Sunset Boulevard, overlooking the city and ocean.

Elvis purchased this home in 1967 for a mere $400,000, shortly after his marriage to Priscilla and birth of their daughter Lisa Marie. It was a hard purchase for Presley to pass up, even with the Mansion murders looming over the city and the entertainment industry. They stayed in this house for five years, until their separation in 1972, when Priscilla and Lisa Marie moved to another home close by.

Elvis was not the only Hollywood A-Lister to have purchased a house in the Trousdale Estates; Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, A. Quicy Jones and most recently Jennifer Aniston; to name a few, have all resided in the Trousdale section of Beverly Hills  What makes Elvis’ house more intriguing is that for a fee any star-struck fan can stand behind the same raud-iron gates Elvis greeted his fans at.
