The Kimberly Hotel’s Rooftop Lounge
The Kimberly Hotel will be having the soft opening of its new rooftop lounge, Upstairs, next week before opening to the public towards the end of the month.
The Kimberly Hotel, located in New York City’s Midtown, has a brand new rooftop restaurant and lounge that features 3,000 square feet of space and jaw-dropping 360 degree views of midtown Manhattan.
Titled Upstairs, the restaurant and lounge is in the works to be open twelve months a year. How is that possible, especially during New York winters, you ask? Well, the Kimberly will be cleverly utilizing retractable glass ceilings and heated floors to keep guests protected from the brutal winter colds and hair-do-destroying Fall rain. Innovation at its finest.
The soft opening of Upstairs will occur next week, however it is only scheduled to be open to the public towards the end of this month. Considering how quickly we’ve moved from Thanksgiving stuffing to Christmas tree lighting, it’s safe to say however that you won’t have to wait too long before you can be declare you’re spending your evening sipping cocktails overlooking Midtown.
