What Makes Him Haute Now: The league’s highest paid player, currently at $24,806,250, is more resilient than ever as he prepares for the playoffs after having undergone three operations on his right knee cap; his last surgery was this last off-season. Bryant has suffered from a condition that has decreased the cartilage in his right knee almost to the bone. Despite a swollen knee, he attends practice consistently, aiming to break records as always.
