Menswear designer, Duncan Quinn, has just come out with a new line of silk ties sporting gangster chic motifs to accompany his new fall collection.
London-born, New York-based menswear designer, Duncan Quinn, is exploring his wild side with the new line of silk ties that display gangster chic motifs meant to compliment his fall collection. Quinn’s designs are extremely popular amongst some of the entertainment world’s leading men such as, Sean Combs, Entourage star Adrien Grenier, LeBron James, and even the rockers of Green Day.
The new tie designs are eye-catching and sophisticated at the same time. The ties are said to be partially inspired by Russian prison tattoos and are made of 100% silk that was hand-woven in England before being cut, stitched, and finished by hand in New York City.
Quinn notes that a lot of his inspiration comes from the “long and well-recorded history of members of the criminal fraternity frequenting Savile Row for their sharp suits and other attire.”
