Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Host Charity Gala in Moscow
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher flew to Moscow on Halloween night to host the Russian Assemblies Charity Gala.
Hollywood couple came to the Russian capital to encourage local and international showbiz stars and celebrities, as well as businessmen and politicians, to raise money for their private charity foundation- The DNA (aiming to eliminate child sex slavery worldwide and to protect the freedom of the most vulnerable citizens).
The event took place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. For the red carpet Moore has chosen Gianfranco Ferré one-sleeved black dress. A charity dinner was followed by an auction, where attendees bid to dance with Moore and Kutcher.
The main prize came at a price: Russian millionaire’s wife Olga Rodionova paid $31,000 for a dance with Ashton Kutcher. Other lots included a chair signed by USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev, Vladislav Tretiak’s and Alexandre Ovechkin’s hockey sticks, a bottle of Moet & Chandone Champagne autographed by Ashton and Demi, Lancel bag previously owned by French actresses Brigitte Bardot and a Cartier vintage watch. Altogether the auction collected $92,000.
Guests at the event were treated with Escada fashion show, organized by the brand’s owner Megha Mittal and Escada CEO Dr. Bruno Salzer, who were among the invitees.
After the charity event the famous couple attended a fancy dress party at prestigious Soho Rooms club, where they joined Moscow’s rich celebrating Halloween.
It was Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s first visit to the Russian capital together.
