Island Life: Tommy Bahama Opens in Laguna Beach

Iconic coastal brand Tommy Bahama is opening up a brand new shop and restaurant in Laguna Beach, one of the country’s (if not the world) most idyllic setting. Just like the brand, the new store is laid back and has everything you need for the island (or beach) life and attached restaurant is a casual stop that you’ll be back to again and again.

In keeping with the company’s philosophy of “life is one long weekend,” the retail store stocks wares that are perfect for the boardwalk, shore and golf course for both men and women. And the location at the iconic Heisler Building couldn’t be better. Just steps from the shore and the relaxed coastal enclave of downtown Laguna, you’re not going to need to get very far to see just where these clothes would fit in.

And like all Tommy Bahama retail locations, there’s an attached restaurant at the Laguna outpost. They’ve got a full bar with hand-shaken cocktails and signature specialties along with a full menu. Emphasizing  fresh, local ingredients with an island flair, the menu at Tommy Bahama Laguna Beach is flavorful and fun, with unique appetizers like Lobster Corn Dogs and Ahi Tuna Tacos, entrees such as atheShrimp BLT, Filet Mignon paired with Chipotle-lime Shrimp or Swordfish with Island Spiced Orange Chile Glaze. If you like to share, sides such as Red and White Quinoa or Sundried Tomato Risotto are available as well as an irresistible list of signature desserts including Banana Cream Pie and Triple Chocolate Cake. And if you’re more of a DIY diner, the “Burger Bar” enables diners to indulge in Prime Angus, House-made veggie burger or chicken breast – with a variety of add-ons and tasty accompaniments.
