Inoshin Brings Intimate Omakase Experience To The Four Seasons At The Surf Club
A new chapter in luxury dining begins with the opening of Inoshin, an intimate omakase experience at the historic Hemingway Tower, nestled within the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club. Crafted by celebrated chef Shinichi Inoue and restaurateurs Kihong Kim and Mihyun Han, the husband -and-wife duo behind New York’s Michelin-starred Kosaka, this exclusive residency brings the art of sushi to life in a setting of unparalleled sophistication. This November marked Inoshin’s permanent location at the newly constructed Seaway at The Surf Club.

Named after chef Shinichi Inoue, Inoshin represents the culmination of his nearly three-decade career. After honing his craft in Tokyo for over 20 years, Inoue earned acclaim in New York as the chef behind his eponymous Sushi Inoue, Kosaka, and multiple Miami residencies. With a focus on traditional techniques and exceptional ingredients, his expertise shines in every meticulously crafted dish.

At Inoshin, the dining experience is both intimate and immersive. The restaurant seats just 16 guests, with six spots available at the bar that doubles as a sushi counter. Guests are guided through a thoughtfully curated $200 omakase menu that begins with hassun (Japanese small plates) and sashimi, followed by nine expertly prepared nigiri featuring prized selections from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market. Highlights include aji (horse mackerel), hirame kobujime (kelp-cured flounder), akami zuke (marinated tuna), uni (sea urchin), and toro Temaki (fatty tuna hand roll).

The journey concludes with miso soup, dessert, and Japanese tea, served on handcrafted Japanese ceramics. A curated beverage program offers pairings of fine wine, sake, and cocktails, enhancing the omakase experience.
Housed in the exclusive Hemingway Tower—typically a members-only space—Inoshin offers a rare opportunity to die within a piece of history. This extended residency will run through August 2025, with dinner service available Tuesday through Saturday, from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
